Go The Dystance with MDAS!
For many of us, going the distance means pushing a little further. For a person living with muscular dystrophy, the distance can look very different: maintaining independence, staying connected, pursuing personal goals or simply navigating everyday life with dignity.
Muscular dystrophy is a group of progressive conditions that cause muscles to weaken over time. As the condition progresses, individuals may require ongoing therapy, rehabilitation, assistive equipment, specialised transport, caregiving support and other assistance.
At the Muscular Dystrophy Association (Singapore) (MDAS), we journey alongside our members and their families through therapy and rehabilitation, life-skills and enrichment programmes, adaptive sports, social participation and other support services.
Go The Dystance is our call to the community to journey with them.
