📽 A Story of Love, Strength, and Resilience: Journey of a mother and child with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) 💜
We’re honored to share the journey of our MDAS member, Shu Wen and her son Devdan, who is living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). In partnership with Novartis and MDAS, this heartfelt video sheds light on the realities of living with the condition and highlights the importance of early detection and timely treatment of SMA, a rare neuromuscular disorder that results in the loss of motor neurons and progressive muscle wasting.
Through their powerful story, we hope there will be greater awareness of SMA and that any others who are living with a similar situation to be empowered as well.
This video is a testament to the resilience and courage of those living with SMA. Let’s continue to raise awareness, show our support, and inspire hope for the SMA community.
